People often ask us what it's like working in juvenile detention centers and prison, how we're able to do what we do, and what it feels like to sit in on a juvenile court hearing. It's tough to capture all of that in words, but the entries from our production blog shed a little light on this aspect of our work.
We're very proud that our Lake County Juvenile Justice series won a 2010 Gracie Allen award for "outstanding documentary series", so to commemorate that we'll be posting some entries from the archives, as well as updates on how some of the kids are doing now.
Several episodes of the series will air again on MSNBC on June 26th, so check your local listings for times. We're also offering the 6 episodes on DVD for personal or educational use. If you are interested in picking up a copy, drop us a line.
